FANTASY RIDERS: ROUND 8

The league table after the eighth round of the Jagger Racing Fantasy Riders 2010 League can be seen above (click image to enlarge). The top four managers all scored the same again, so Stuart remains in the lead on 611 points ahead of Darren (583), Graham (573) and Richard F (560).

Leon Haslam's consistency paid off this weekend in South Africa as the Pocket Rocket, resplendent in a special England "Three Lions" helmet ahead of the football World Cup, extended his lead in the WSB championship.

After finishing third behind the Ducati pairing of Michel Fabrizio and Carlos Checa in race one, Haslam then won a terrific battle to take the second race by half a second from Johnny Rea and Max Biaggi. On 222 points, Haslam now leads the championship standings by 15 points from Biaggi, with Rea and Checa tied for third on 141.

Round 9 of the Jagger Racing Fantasy Riders League is next weekend, as MotoGP heads for the historic Le Mans circuit in France while BSB continues at Cadwell Park. See the Fantasy Riders website for further updates.
